Vodafone has registered during April-June, 2006 interval a USD 0.3 increase in the average revenue per client, to USD 15.2, and the total number of users registered at the end of the interval was 6.73 million, 351,000 clients more than the level reported at the end of March. 65.9 per cent of the clients were prepaid users, Vodafone communiqué mentions.

Regarding the revenues per client, the revenues from subscriptions had the largest share, namely USD 29.5, while the revenues from prepaid cards were only USD 6.7. In Romania, the total revenues of the group increased 31.7 per cent in March-July. Worldwide, the telecommunication company had 186.8 million of customers. Along Orange Romania, Vodafone is one of the main mobile phone operators in Romania.
