Total net capitals that entered the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the
Romanian Securities Market (Rasdaq) attained 30 million euros at the end of
the first quarter of this year, double the sum that entered the market in
the similar periods of last year.
This amount is the result of the difference between 352 million euros worth
of investments and cash-out operations totaling 322 million euros.
The investments of foreign parties topped withdrawals in the first four
months, although in March and April a deficit was registered, according to
data from the National Securities Commission (CNVM). In the first half of
the year, foreign investors bought stocks worth 485 million euros and sold
shares worth 380 million euros.
In June, foreign parties cashed-out stocks worth 41.87 million euros, 3.08
million euros less than the amount that entered the stock exchange (44.94
million euros). Last month foreigners made purchase orders totaling 52.55
million euros while theirs sales attained 52.07 million euros.
