The Parliament of Luxembourg has ratified unanimously Bulgaria and Romania’s EU accession treaty, Europe.bg told FOCUS News Agency.
The debates lasted for two hours. Representatives of all the five factions and one independent MP took part in them. There were no objections to Bulgaria’s EU accession.
Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Asselborn presented the government’s ratification bill to the Parliament, voicing his support for it.
Since Luxembourg’s Parliament is unicameral, the ratification process is over. Now, only the Grand Duke of Luxembourg has to endorse the document.
