Bucharest Fine Mechanics Co. (Mecanica Fina Bucuresti), a manufacturer of
measurement instruments, has set up Itagra, a farming company with a share
capital of 3.7 million RON, of which 97 percent consists of a plot of land
and buildings of BFM. The establishment of Itagra was decided by the BFM
shareholders in March.
BFM holds 99.9 percent in Itagra, of which 98,000 RON was contributed in
cash. Itagra is based in Boranesti, Ialomita County, and grows grains, corn
and other agricultural plants. Itagra will be run by the Italian-born Sergio
Mollo, who also manages Mol Invest, the majority shareholder in BFM.
