The Romanian branch of the Italian producer of agricultural machinery
Maschio-Gaspardo this year intends to invest 2 million euros in increasing
the production facilities of its plant in Chisineu-Cris, Arad County (600 km
from Bucharest, western Romania), ACT Media news agency reports.
"The decision of developing the production facilities by expanding the
existing production hall came as a result of the increase both on the
domestic and foreign markets," Mirco Maschio, Maschio-Gaspardo Romania's
administrator, said. According to the above-mentioned paper, after this
investment, the production of this plant will increase by approximately
20-25 percent. The company posted seven million euros turnover in 2005, a 40
percent increase as against the previous year. "We intend to exceed the
turnover registered last year by developing the domestic and the foreign
markets," the company's representative said. Being present on the Romanian
market since 2002, Maschio-Gaspardo Company had started to produce the next
year, after an over two million euro investment, the aforementioned source
also says.
