The Romanian Ministry of Economy sold all 100% of the armament factory Uzina Mecanica Filiasi for 5 million RON, the equivalent of 1.4 million Euros, to the Retrom S.A. Pascani which submitted the best bid, according to HotNews Romania.The sum covers the price of the stocks, and the technological and environment investments.

The new owner will pay all the company's debts valued at 0.85 million Euros.

Uzina Mecanica Filiasi produces munition and arms.

The final bid took into account the financial and the technical offers, and the business plan on 3- year term.
