The latest fashion among businessmen in Romania is to invest over 100,000 euros in state-of-the-art IT systems that control security, utility and home entertainment systems. This is the concept of the "smart home", managed exclusively by means of digital systems, which can also be remotely monitored or controlled, through the mobile phone or the Internet. "All in all, we have installed tens of such smart home solutions, many of them worth over 100,000 euros; our clients are mainly businessmen," stated Andi Segal, an official from the IT solutions provider Avitech, during a seminar organised on Wednesday by the company in partnership with the digital lifestyle magazine go4it!, published by ZIARUL FINANCIAR.
 
Such contracts include non-disclosure clauses regarding the identity of the beneficiaries.
