In July 2004 during the Farnborough International Air show, Rolls-Royce plc and Turbomecanica S.A. signed a long-term contract for the supply of aero-engine components from Turbomecanica S.A., according to Turbomecanica's press release. Over the last three month both companies made efforts to detail all the technical aspects of the deal implementing a fast technological integration.
 
Through sustained joint work the first batch of components is expected to be delivered to Rolls Royce at the beginning of 2007.
